Ingredients

  • 300 ml warm water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 500 g all-purpose flour (or bread flour)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 5 g active dry yeast (or 15 g fresh yeast)

Directions

  • Add to Bread Maker:
Add ingredients in the order recommended by your machine—usually:
Water, oil, then dry ingredients, with yeast last (placed on top, away from salt)
  • Set to Dough Cycle:
Select the “Dough” setting. Let the machine mix, knead, and rise—typically about 90 minutes.
  • Shape & Rest:
Once done, remove dough. Divide if making 2 pizzas. Shape into rounds or rectangles, place on parchment-lined trays or pizza stones, and let rest 10–15 minutes.
  • Top & Bake:
Add your favorite sauce and toppings. Bake in a preheated 245°C oven for 10–12 minutes, or until crust is golden and crisp.

Notes

  • For extra crispness, bake on a preheated pizza stone.
Let the dough rest 10–15 min after shaping for better stretching.
For a subtle flavor boost, mix in a pinch of dried oregano or garlic powder with the flour.

Whether it’s topped with classic mozzarella or your own favorite twists, this dough is a trusted go-to you’ll come back to again and again. Here’s to more slow moments and hot slices, straight from your own oven.
